This 2014 club tour will be even more special, because of the 30-year release anniversary of Bob Marley and The Wailers’ twelfth album: Legend.
Until this day, Legend is still the best-selling reggae album of all time.
In support of World Refugee Day on June 20 Dutch-Caribbean group Rootsriders, well known in their home territory of the Netherlands for their spirited shows honoring life and music of Bob Marley, released their new single ‘High Tide Or Low Tide’ together with Senegalese artiste Meta Dia of rising reggae group Meta & The Cornerstones (NYC). This band just released their new album ‘Ancient Power’ (including features with Damian Marley, U-Roy & Capleton). It recently debuted in the top 15 of the Billboard Reggae Charts. All profits will go to a small Dutch aid organization who helps to shelter illegal immigrants and refugees in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, because “in high seas or in low seas, I’m gonna be your friend. In high tide or in low tide, I’ll be by your side!”
