Support: The Road HomeMany thought he had said goodbye to the music industry. That he had laid down his guitar for good. That he sold his heart to pictorial art. However, ladies and gentlemen, The Hague-born Adje Vandenberg, guitarist, composer, producer, music publisher and painter is back with his new band: Vandenberg's MoonKings. Bridge between rock from now and thenThe quartet kicks off with a rocking debut, which was released worldwide by Mascot Records in february 2014. Adje is glad with his return to the international music scene. 'The last album I made was with Whitesnake in 1998. For this album, I did not want to create an obvious classic rock album, but was looking to create a bridge between the finest rock of the 70'ies mixed with the rock of this century. I've got a great feeling that I succeeded in this.' Touring around the globeAdje Vandenberg produced the album himself, which led to recordings full of dynamics. According to Adje, it's the best album he has ever made. Now, Vandenberg and his MoonKings are ready to tour: they'll visit The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and Spain in 2015, followed by festival appearances and gigs in America and Japan. 'It has been a long period of abstinence for me, so I'm really looking forward to start this new adventure.'
