Vaudou Game is a musical creation of Peter Solo, born in Aného-Glidji (Togo), an important place in voodoo-culture. Inspired by energetic afrofunk from the 70’s, he combined voodoo rythms with funk and soul.
After the debutalbum ‘Apiafo’ (2014) and touring almost all the time, Vaudoo Game took a break in late 2017. The result is a new record ‘Otodi’, that was released in October. Also the formation of the band changed. Next to Peter, two other Togolese musicians were added to the group, which means that the group is now half French half Togolese. As always the afrofunk and afrobeat are leading, although the new record also consists highlife and afrodisco.
