I want to bring a complete act with accessible music, good singing, and also dance to the Netherlands. That international sparkle isn’t really present here. I want to be an artist who enters with fireworks and puts on a whole show with eight dancers. A true pop star. And if the opportunity arises, I do have the ambition to become the biggest in the Netherlands, yes. I’m just doing my best; if it happens, it happens.

Milou is an R&B/pop singer and songwriter who distinguishes herself with her vulnerable songwriting style and her modern twist on the 90s R&B sound. By uploading a series of singing videos on the media platform ‘Voisey’, she attracted the attention of prominent R&B songwriters and producers from America, such as Rodney Jerkins. In addition to writing for top artists in both the Netherlands and the United States, she is now focusing on her own artist project.
