Warhaus is the solo project and alter ego of Maarten Devoldere, frontman and songwriter of the Belgian indie pop band Balthazar. Warhaus is raw and expressive. With a romantic baritone amidst gritty guitars, mysterious percussion, synths, strings, and occasional brass, Devoldere’s musical approach carries traces of Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Tom Waits & Serge Gainsbourg.
