WAYLON – HEAVEN AFTER MIDNIGHT CLUBTOUR

Thursday 27 November 2014 2014

Waylon was the first Dutch artist to sign a contract at the renowned international Motown label. After two soul records, which were a huge succes in The Netherlands and abroad, he decided to go way back to where it all started, his first love: country music. After breaking up with The Common Linnets, the band he attended the finals of The Eurovision Song Festival with, he went to Nashville to record his album. It took him only 10 days to finish it, with help from the American songwriter, guitar player and producer Bruce Gaitsch, who has worked with Madonna. Alongside, Waylon wrote a couple of songs with Rob Crosby, who used to be the composer of artists such as Carl Perkins, Paul Simon and Lady Antebellum.
