THAMES is a new post-punk band centered around lead singer and guitarist Merlyn Baartman. Although he has British and Irish punk and new wave influences, it was only after he moved to Amsterdam that he noticed how emotionally reserved the British can be. THAMES combines a modern post-punk sound with a focus on challenging toxic masculinity.
