The Wojtek Justyna TreeOh! mixes the energy of jazz-funk and the colors and rhythms of world music with refreshing new sounds. Fuzzy melodies are effortlessly combined with traditional African instruments and crushing synth basses. With their third album ‘THRICE’ (2022) the musicians have brought together their creative compositional talents to a single musical whole, full of danceable grooves, intriguing harmonies and – razor-sharp – melodies that grab the listener. With countless international concerts in clubs and renowned jazz festivals such as Jazz In Daegu (South Korea) Delft Jazz Festival, State-X New Forms, het Bevrijdingsfestival, So What’s Next? (NL), Jazzmeile Thuringia, Jazzahead! (DE) and Letni Festiwal Jazzowy (PL), the TreeOh! built up a reputation as a vibrant live act, loaded with dynamic solos, colorful structures and flaming interactions between the musicians.

Instrumentation: Wojtek Justyna (Poland / Netherlands) – guitar, Szymon Justyński (Poland) – bass guitar, Francesco de Rubeis (Italy) – percussion, Diogo Carvalho (Portugal) – percussion, balafon, synth. Featuring Fernan Mejuto (Spain) – vibraphone, keys and percussion.

This concert is a collaboration with ProJazz.

PAARD celebrates it’s 50th birthday in 2022 and we will honor that with a spectacular party week in October: PAARD50. From October 21, till October 30 – during PAARD50 – we will celebrate PAARD of the past, PAARD of the future and especially PAARD NOW.
