CLUB PAARD CONCEPTS 2025
Making your party dream come true? You can at CLUB PAARD CONCEPTS! Because this year, our concepts competition returns with a new round. Time to bring your out-of-the-box idea to life in PAARD (and follow in the footsteps of successes like Mama Africa and Mulatu). We are looking for something that is still missing in The Hague nightlife. PAARD will give you the keys, the debit card and together we will make it an unforgettable first edition!
Are you the person who always organises everything in your group of friends and is overflowing with ideas? Then we are looking for you!
Unleash your creativity and organise your own club night!
Winning concept:
- brings something unique to The Hague nightlife
- is ambitious but also realistic
- appeals to a large group of Hagenezen and Hagenaren
How does it work?
- A budget of €1,250 is available
- The club night will take place in the Kleine Zaal with a capacity of 350 visitors.
- We will organise a night in November/December between 23:30 and 4:00
- The two best concepts will be invited to present
- The winner will get the club night of his/her dreams
Requirements:
- Participation is from 18 years of age
- You must be registered at the KVK or willing to register yourself and thus have the ability to send out invoices.
What should you do?
Send us your proposal. This can be on paper, but it can also be a video! Be creative and make it visual! Tell us what the party looks like and who your target audience is. How are you going to reach these people? Also, don’t forget a cost breakdown, how do you divide the budget among artists, promotion and decor? Finally, of course, the most important thing is your motivation!
Send in your concept plan with budget before 30 April to [email protected] with the title: concept competition + “name event”.
To give you an idea, here we share two concepts that previously competed with CLUB PAARD CONCEPTS: Mulatu Listening Bar and Mama Africa.
MULATU is a listening bar concept born out of the ideas competition. It is an event where on the same night there is room for both deep focus and liberating dancing. Wherever the music takes you! Inspired by authentic Japanese listening bars and modern European bars like Brilliant Corners. With already several successful editions and fringe programming at other nights, this remains a recurring concept on Prinsegracht.
The successful MAMA AFRICA also started with CLUB PAARD CONCEPTS. Yes, yes, little children grow up. In a short time, the gentlemen sold out their first edition in the Kleine Zaal. Six years later, Mama Africa is an integral part of Dutch nightlife. With editions every weekend all over the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, it’s the best way to honor African music. The concept keeps growing even at festivals, with stage hostings at Mysteryland, Lowlands, and the Rotterdam Summer Carnival.
