Grant your plant an evening out: Help Burst grow and get free entrance

Burst offers free entrance for plants, and is on the lookout for adoptive parents for orphaned flora. 

Bring your houseplant, cactus, bonsaitree, fern or kitchengarden for a night out at Burst and get free entrance! For the ones who do not want to go home alone, Burst offers the possibilety to adopt lonely green leafage. 

It has been almost two years since the international dancenight Burst saw the light of day. The first Burst-edition, with German DJ-duo Modeselektor, was a success and many editions (featuring Ame, 2mandydj’s, DJ Hell, Apparat, Dixon, Dubfire and many others) followed, each presenting a state of the art experience. Burst therefore, represents growth and development. At Burst not only water is the base of growth: the energy of good ideas and a committed crowd helps it grow.

Will you help Burst grow?
From now on, you can literally bring your plant to Burst. This plant might be the result of the exclusive Burst-seed packs that are spread throughout The Hague, but it can also be your favorite indoor plant, bonsai tree or whatever plant that needs a night out.

First edition of take your plant out: a huge succes
Paard van Troje and its visitors enjoyed a several succefull Burst-editions. The lively vibe was partly due to the ‘Take Your Plant Out’-action, wich offered visitors who brought a potted plant free entrance. This acummelated in a large crowd bringing thier houseplants: several hunderds of plants were left to the care of our gardener. The result was a packed greenery, housing orchids, greenferns, kentiapalmtrees and cactusses in every shape and size imaginable.

Take out your plant to The magician and Kraak & Smaak!
For the next Burst-edition the offer of free entrance with your plant also stands. This is how it goes:
Take your plant*- carefully!- under your arm, visit Paard van Troje and leave your plant in our special greenhouse. Our Burst-gardener will take care of your green loved one while you enjoy your free Burst-party. Thus not only you are having a great evening out, but also your favorite plant can enjoy a splendid evening among like-minded new friends in our greenhouse. At the end of the evening you simply pick up your plant and get home safe. 

‘Samen uit samen thuis’ as we say in Dutch.

Note! Our Burst-gardener accepts new plants until midnight (00.00), so make sure you are on time!

Don’t want to go home alone? Adopt a plant!
Unfortunately some plants were left in our greenery after the last edition. These orphaned plants want nothing more than to be adopted by a loving visitor.
We hope that you and your new Burstflora will enjoy splendind times together!

*)We emphasize that only potted plants will be admitted. Plants derooted and taken from public spaces will not give access. Au contraire: if we see you handing in vandalized  plants you will not be welcome at the party until you can prove you have safely replanted the victim at its orignal location.
