Actually, they already played together before the days they started the Ranch Girls and Ragtime Wranglers in 1992.
Around 2002, when Huey Moor joined the band, Miss Mary Ann intensified her solo singing. Being the only vocalist in the band instead of one of the two hillbilly harmony vocals of the Ranch Girls that quit in that same period. From those days on the band name became Miss Mary Ann & the Ragtime Wranglers.
The Ragtime Wranglers sometimes play without their lead singer Mary Ann. They put out instrumental albums and are an in-demand group for backing-up American acts like The Collins Kids, Janis Martin, Jack Earls, Hardrock Gunter, Curtis Gordon, Marvin Rainwater, Barbara Pittman etc
